AI transformation favors industry depth.

The companies that win the next decade will not be the broadest.

They will be the ones that know a specific industry the way the best operators do. The workflows. The benchmarks. The judgment that separates best in class from laggard.

AI rewards that depth.

Foundation models do not have it. AI-native startups do not have it. It lives with people who have spent years inside an industry and earned its trust.

But depth is the starting line, not the finish.

The real reward goes to the companies that reimagine the work itself. Not one person made faster. Not one team made more efficient. The whole workflow rethought for a world where every role runs agents.

I am watching this happen in my own company. In software, the loop between product, design, and engineering is tightening and iterating faster than I have seen in my career, because each of those roles now orchestrates agents to do the work.

Your industry runs on different workflows than mine. But the principle holds wherever the work is done: the teams that rethink the whole loop, not just one seat in it, are the ones AI rewards.

Knowing a vertical is not the same as building production AI on top of it.

That is the gap.

At Jollies, we aim to close that gap the same way I’ve done it for decades...

Through partnership.
